Ever since graduating the Fashion Institute of Technology, JoAnne has been working as an illustrator/painter. Her art can be found in galleries, newspapers and magazines. Fortunate to live at the Jersey shore, she draws her inspiration from the beach life. With the use of palette knives, broad brush strokes and vibrant acrylic paints, she paints her view of life. Inspired by french impressionism and contemporary art, abstracting the figure and reinterpreting water are her favorite things to paint.
